Details:

On or about Thursday, January 13th, 2022, around 6:14 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Keller Springs Road and Marsh Lane in Carrollton, Texas.

Police officers said one as-of-yet unidentified 55-year-old man was injured when he was allegedly hit by a passing motorist as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Keller Springs. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.

Authorities said they believe the pedestrian may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 21 miles northwest of downtown Dallas.

Officials are still investigating the accident.
