On or about Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, around 2:45 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle rollover car accident sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Lasses Boulevard in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a van allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and slammed into a residence before it rolled. After the initial accident, the driver allegedly fled the scene on foot but was found a short distance away later. Emergency responders treated the driver at the scene and transported them to jail.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southeast side of San Antonio.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
