Details:
On or about Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, around 2:00 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle collision sent one woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported on Loop 410 at or near the intersection with San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when the SUV she was driving allegedly slammed into a barrier following a collision with another vehicle on Loop 410. The woman in the SUV was treated for unspecified injuries after the accident, but it is not clear if she was transported to a nearby hospital, or if she was treated at the scene by EMTs.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Loop 410 and San Pedro Avenue is on the north side of San Antonio.
Officials are still working to determine all the factors that may have contributed to the accident, including the possibility of alcohol.
