Details:
On or about Saturday, April 30th, 2022, around 9:41 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Officials from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported in the 8600 block of North Lamar Boulevard in Austin, Texas.
Authorities from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as they were walking near or tried to cross the roadway on North Lamar Boulevard. Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the intersection with Elliot Street on the north side of Austin.
APD is still investigating the incident.
