On or about Saturday, April 16th, 2022, around 10:30 at night, a major single-vehicle rollover car accident sent one woman to the hospital. Representatives from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along North Loop 610 in Houston, Texas.
Authorities from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and rolled in a wooded patch a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders transported the woman driving the car to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Interstate 45.
Police are still trying to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
