On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, around 8:00 in the evening, a single-vehicle car accident sent one individual to the hospital. Authorities from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Pearl Retreat Lane in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and crashed into an apartment building a short distance off the pavement on Pearl Retreat Lane. Paramedics transported one person in the car to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Austin.
Officials are still examining the factors that may have led to the crash.
