Details:
On or about Sunday, May 15th, 2022, around 2:37 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Riverside Drive in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by several passing vehicles as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Riverside Drive. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the incident is near South Lakeshore Boulevard.
Police are still investigating the accident.
