Details:
On or about Thursday, June 30th, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian sent one woman to the hospital. Law enforcement spokespeople from the area said the accident was reported along San Agustin Avenue in Laredo.
Officers from the Laredo Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified 22-year-old woman was injured when she was allegedly hit by a passing vehicle as she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross San Agustin Avenue. Emergency responders rushed the woman to a nearby hospital where she was last reported in serious condition by medical staff.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in downtown Laredo.
Police are still investigating.
