On or about Sunday, May 15th, 2022, around 3:00 in the morning, a major accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Local law enforcement spokespeople said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of East Seventh Street and Neches Street in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic near Seventh and Neches. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of East Seventh Street and Neches Street is on the south side of Austin.
