On or about Thursday, June 9th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, a serious car accident sent one woman to the hospital. Local law enforcement spokespeople said the accident was reported along South Travis Street in Sherman, Texas.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when she allegedly jumped from a moving vehicle along South Travis Street. Emergency responders transported her to a nearby hospital before she was airlifted to a hospital in Plano with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, South Travis Street winds north and south into the center of Sherman.
Police are still looking into what happened in the incident.
