On or about Monday, May 30th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, a serious three-vehicle car accident sent at least one person to the hospital. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when three passenger vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident along South Padre Island Drive. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital where they were last reported in critical condition by medical staff.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the intersection with Weber Road.
Police are still investigating the collision.
