On or about Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a serious car accident sent one individual to the hospital. Officers from the APD said the accident was reported along Southwest 46th Avenue in Amarillo, Texas.
Officials from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a passenger vehicle crashed under unspecified circumstances along Southwest 46th Avenue. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Southlawn Park.
Police are still looking into the incident.
