Details:
On or about Saturday, June 18th, 2022, shortly before midnight, a serious accident between a pedestrian and a car sent one person to the hospital. Representatives from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along West 6th Street in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross West 6th Street. Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where they were last reported in critical condition by medical staff.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from downtown Austin.
Police are still investigating.
