On or about Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, around 6:58 in the morning, an accident involving a Citibus left at least one person injured. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Loop 289 in Lubbock, Texas.
Officers from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a Citibus crashed under unspecified circumstances in the 4900 block of Loop 289. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene, but did not indicate if they were a driver of passenger.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southwest side of Lubbock.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
