Details:
On or about Friday, October 16th, 2020, around 7:30 in the evening, a three-vehicle accident involving a commercial van sent one person to the hospital. The accident took place on FM 1485 near Walton Avenue in Montgomery County, Texas.
Local police have said that one person was injured when a pickup truck allegedly veered over the center line of FM 1485 where it struck a commercial van and a Ford Edge SUV. One person had to be freed from the commercial van before they were transported to Kingwood Hospital. Medical staff last reported them in stable condition.
Reviewing the scene of the accident on Google Streetview shows that FM 1485 is four lanes separated by a shared turn lane, and runs east and west through the heart of New Caney. New Caney is roughly 30 miles north of Houston.
Texas DPS is aiding local authorities with the accident investigation.
