On or about Tuesday, December 9th, 2021, around 9:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer hauling concrete and a passenger vehicle sent one woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market 1488 in Magnolia, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when a tractor-trailer hauling concrete allegedly rolled onto her vehicle on FM 1488. Emergency responders cut the woman free of the wreckage and rushed her to a nearby hospital where medical staff last reported her in stable condition. The driver of the concrete truck sustained minor injuries, and it is not clear if he was treated at the scene or transported to the hospital for treatment.
According to Google Maps, Magnolia is situated about 45 miles north of downtown Houston.
Officers are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
