On or about Monday, March 15th, 2021, around 3:45 in the afternoon, an accident between a school bus and a car sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the SCHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of James Jones Avenue and Church Street in Florence, South Carolina.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a daycare bus and a car collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics transported one individual to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the crash. Officials said nobody aboard the daycare bus was injured in the collision.
According to Google Maps, Florence is located about 135 miles north of Charlestown.
Authorities hope to release the findings of their investigation as soon as they become available.
