Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 30th, 2021, around 7:15 in the evening, an accident between a pedestrian and a delivery truck sent one person to the hospital. Officers from the NYPD said the accident was reported at the intersection of West 73rd Street and Broadway in Manhattan, New York.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when they were allegedly hit by a DHL delivery truck as they were walking near or trying to cross the roadway at the intersection of Broadway and West 73rd Street. Paramedics transported the victim to nearby Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital where he was last reported in critical condition by medical staff.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of West 73rd and Broadway is on the Upper East Side.
NYPD officers assisted at the scene of the accident.
