Details:
On or about Monday, April 18th, 2022, around 1:25 in the morning, a suspected drunk driving accident sent one woman to the hospital with major injures. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported in the 2200 block of the Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the passenger vehicle they were driving allegedly veered off the road and crashed into a sign on the side of the roadway. and crashed into a road sign a short distance off the pavement.
Officials said the woman smelled of intoxicants and may have been drinking before the crash.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
