Details:
On or about March 19th, 2022, a serious single-vehicle car accident with a house sent one person to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 79 in Milam County, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified 27-year-old man was injured when a pickup truck allegedly drove off the side of Highway 79 and crashed into a residence. One occupant in the residence was taken to the hospital to be treated for incapacitating injuries.
Police arrested the driver of the pickup truck for driving under the influence, with an alleged BAC of .179 when tested.
Authorities are still investigating.
