On or about Tuesday, January 19th, 2021, an accident between a dump truck and a car sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the MSP said the accident happened along Artesia Road near Starkville in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi.
State and local law enforcement said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a car and a dump truck collided under unspecified condition while driving on Artesia Road. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary statement.
According to Google Maps, the accident happened a short distance outside Starkville in Oktibbeha County.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
