On or about Monday, January 24th, 2022, around 1:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Officials said the accident was reported at the intersection of Rogers Lake Road and South Deshon Road in Atlanta, Georgia.
Deputies from the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when a dump truck allegedly rolled onto her vehicle at or near the intersection of Rogers Lake Road and South Deshon Road. Emergency responders freed the woman from the wreckage and airlifted her to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of Atlanta.
Police are still working to pin down the cause of the accident.
