On or about Friday, February 5th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a motorcycle and a dump truck sent one person to the hospital. Officials said the accident happened near the intersection of Ellsworth Road and Germann Road in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a dump truck allegedly clipped their motorcycle. Emergency responders rushed the motorcyclist to the hospital in critical condition after the accident. The driver of the dump truck did not report injuries after the accident.
Authorities closed both directions of Germann Road in order to investigate the accident. According to Google Maps, Queen Creek is about 37 miles southeast of downtown Phoenix.
State and local law enforcement are investigating the accident at this time.
