On or about Thursday, October 21st, 2021, around 9:20 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and an SUV sent a 63-year-old man to the hospital. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Highway 158 in Nags Head, North Carolina.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified 63-year-old man was injured when the SUV he was driving and a dump truck collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Highway 158. Paramedics transported the driver of the SUV to nearby The Outer Banks Hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 158 runs north and south through Nags Head, which is about 120 miles east of downtown Greenville.
