On or about Saturday, November 13th, 2021, a serious accident between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle sent at least one individual to the hospital. Officials from the CSP said the accident was reported along Highway 83 in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Police spokespeople said at least one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a dump truck allegedly struck a passenger vehicle that was attempting a U-turn along Highway 83. Paramedics transported at least one person to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident. Police did not indicate which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 83 runs north and south along the eastern edge of Castle Rock, which is about 30 miles south of downtown Denver.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
