On or about Thursday, November 4th, 2021, around 11:51 in the morning, a single-vehicle dump truck accident sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the OSHP said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 75 near the exchange with Wagner Ford Road in Dayton, Ohio.

Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified person was rushed to the hospital when the dump truck they were driving allegedly lost control and rolled while heading north on Interstate 75. Paramedics transported the driver of the dump truck to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 75 runs north and south through Dayton, with the scene of the accident located a short distance north of downtown.

Police are still investigating.
