Details:
On or about Friday, March 5th, 2021, an accident between a dump truck and a car sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on Lens Creek Road near Clark Drive in Marmet, West Virginia.
Police said a dump truck allegedly hit the back of a car that had just turned onto Lens Creek Road. One passenger in the car was taken by EMS to a nearby hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. None of the other two people in the car were injured.
According to Google Maps, Marmet is about 12 miles south of Charleston.
State Police and Deputies from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the accident.
