Details:
On or about Tuesday, October 13th, 2020, an accident between a dump truck and a car sent one individual to the hospital. Police said that the accident happened in the 7200 block of Pearl Road in Middlburg Heights, Ohio.
Law enforcement representatives said that one person was hurt when a dump truck allegedly attempted a wide right turn and slammed into a car. The collision pushed the car into a nearby office building where it struck somebody inside. First responders transported the victim to Southwest General Health Center where they were reported in critical condition.
Looking at the scene of the accident on Google Maps shows that Pearl Road is four lanes, with a shared turn lane dividing north and southbound traffic in the northeastern portion of town. Middleburg Heights is a suburb on the outskirts of Cleveland.
Police expect to release the findings of their investigation as soon as they become available.
