On or about Saturday, January 15th, 2022, around 8:30 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and a pedestrian sent a woman to the hospital. Spokespeople from the TPD said the accident was reported at a QuickTrip gas station on North Peoria Avenue near the exchange with East Pine Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Tulsa Police Department officials said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when she was allegedly struck and dragged by a dump truck as she was walking in the QuickTrip parking lot. Emergency responders rushed the woman to a nearby hospital where she was being treated for broken bones stemming from the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of North Peoria Avenue and East Pine Street is on the north side of Tulsa.

Multiple agencies responded to the accident to assist.
