On or about Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, around 2:00 in the afternoon, a major accident between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle sent a woman to the hospital in a helicopter. Spokespeople from the PSP said the accident was reported along Route 519 in North Strabane Township, Pennsylvania.
Police officers said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was seriously hurt when a dump truck allegedly rolled onto her passenger vehicle after a collision on Route 519. Emergency responders cut the victim from her car and airlifted to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity. The driver of the dump truck complained of an injury, but it is not clear if he was taken to the hospital or treated at the scene.
According to Google Maps, North Strabane is about 26 miles south of downtown Pittsburgh.
