On or about Friday, October 29th, 2021, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and a motor scooter sent one individual to the hospital. Local law enforcement spokespeople said the accident was reported along South Padre Island Drive at or near the intersection with Flynn Avenue in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the motor scooter they were riding and a dump truck collided under unspecified circumstances at the intersection of SPID and Flynn Avenue. Paramedics transported the scooter driver to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of South Padre Island Drive and Flynn Avenue is situated on the south side of Corpus Christi.
