On or about Friday, October 8th, 2021, around 6:08 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a dump truck sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville, Maryland.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a pickup truck and a dump truck collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Three Notch Road near the intersection with Commerce Park Road. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with serious injuries after the accident, but authorities did not indicate which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Mechanicsville is about 73 miles south of downtown Baltimore.
