On or about Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, around 12:00 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a dump truck and a cement truck sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in Ankeny, Iowa.
Spokespeople from the Iowa State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a dump truck allegedly lost control with a possible tire issue and collided with a cement truck. Emergency responders transported one person in the cement truck to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. The driver of the dump truck was unhurt in the collision.
