On or about Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, around 10:00 at night, a serious two-vehicle car accident with a suspected DWI driver sent one person to the hospital. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Interstate 45 in Montgomery County, Texas.
Officials from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a vehicle allegedly pulled out of a gas station and struck another car. After the initial collision, one of the vehicles struck a pole a short distance off the roadway. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
Police arrested the driver of the other vehicle after they allegedly failed a field sobriety test at the scene of the collision.

Police are still investigating the crash.
