On or about Monday, March 15th, 2021, around 11:30 at night, an accident between a car and a flatbed construction truck sent one person to the hospital. Officials said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 65 near the exchange with Interstate 24 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when their car allegedly struck the back of a flatbed truck that was stopped on the shoulder of the interstate. Paramedics transported the woman to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their initial report.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 65 and Interstate 24 is located a short distance north of downtown Nashville.
Police are still investigating.
