Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 31st, 2021, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a flatbed truck and an SUV sent one individual to the hospital. Officials said the accident happened along Highway 395 near Oddie Boulevard in Reno, Nevada.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified man was injured when a flatbed truck towing wooden trusses snagged his SUV with the trusses and dragged it a significant distance. Paramedics transported the driver of the SUV to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. No other vehicles were mentioned by police in their preliminary report.
Police indicated the driver of the flatbed truck will be cited for failure to maintain his lane in connection with the accident.
Officials said the accident took around an hour to clear.
