On or about Thursday, October 21st, 2021, around 11:30 in the morning, an accident between a garbage truck and an SUV sent one individual to the hospital. Officials said the accident was reported along Highway 1 in Pacifica, California
Troopers from the CHP said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when an SUV and a garbage truck collided under unspecified conditions. Officials said the collision appeared to be head-on in nature. Emergency responders transported the driver of the SUV to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 1 runs north and south through Pacifica, which is about 15 miles south of downtown San Francisco.
California Highway Patrol assisted at the scene of the incident.
