On or about Sunday, December 19th, 2021, around 9:00 at night, a hit-and-run car accident between a car and a pedestrian sent one individual to the hospital. Officers from the FWPD said the accident was reported in the 3900 block of East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas.

Spokespeople from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as they were walking along or made an attempt to cross the lanes of East Lancaster Avenue. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity. The vehicle that struck the victim fled the scene of the incident.

Officers are still working to track down the driver of the offending vehicle.
