On or about Friday, December 24th, 2021, around 10:08 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between an SUV and a pedestrian sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Bishop Avenue in Dallas, Texa.

Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was seriously injured when they were allegedly struck and dragged a significant distance by an SUV at the intersection of Bishop Avenue and West Jefferson Boulevard. After the initial accident, the SUV fled the scene. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Officials are still trying to track down the SUV and it’s driver.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Bishop Avenue is a short distance south of downtown Dallas.

Dallas Police are still investigating the accident.
