On or about Monday, November 22nd, 2021, around 5:24 in the afternoon a hit-and-run accident between a pickup truck and a motorcycle sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of McGowen Street and Hamilton Street in Houston, Texas.
Police from the area said 0ne as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when they were allegedly struck by a pickup truck that subsequently fled the scene at the intersection of Hamilton Street and McGowen Street. Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Authorities are still looking for the pickup truck.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of McGowen Street and Hamilton Street is a short distance south of downtown Houston.
Police are still investigating.
