Details:
On or about Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a pedestrian and a pickup truck sent one individual to the hospital. Officers from the EPPD said the accident was reported in the parking lot of the Mi Bar Cantina on North Zaragoza Road in El Paso, Texas.
Officials said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly struck by a pickup truck as they were walking through the parking lot of the Mi Bar Cantina. After the initial accident the pickup truck fled the scene. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of El Paso.
Police are still looking for the pickup truck and driver that fled the scene.
