Details:
On or about Sunday, April 24th, 2022, around 3:00 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported in the 100 block of South Zarzamora Street in San Antonio, Texas.
Investigators from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of South Zarzamora Street. After the initial collision with the pedestrian, the passenger vehicle fled the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the west side of San Antonio.
Officials later tracked down the alleged driver who fled, who currently faces charges of failure to stop and render aid in connection with the incident.
