Around April 2022, a serious hit-and-run car accident sent one individual to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Springdale Road in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a Ford Mustang and a Lincoln Continental collided under unknown conditions along Springdale Road. After the initial accident, the driver of the Lincoln exited their vehicle and was allegedly hit by the Mustang as it fled the scene. Paramedics rushed the victim to Dell Medical Center with serious injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the intersection with Hycreek.
Authorities are still trying to find the driver and Mustang that fled the scene.
