On or about Wednesday, April 21st, 2021, an accident between a log truck and a car sent a juvenile driver to the hospital. Authorities said the accident was reported at State Road 7 and State Road 2070 in Greenup County, Kentucky.

Police said one as-of-yet unidentified juvenile driver was injured when their car and a log truck collided under unknown conditions. Emergency responders transported the driver of the car to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident. No other injuries were reported.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of State Route 2070 and State Route 7 is situated in Dema, which is about 137 miles southwest of Lexington.

Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
