On or about Friday, April 15th, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left one person injured. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Highway 281 in San Antonio, Texas.
Representatives from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic at Loop 1604 and Highway 281. Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Loop 1604 and Highway 281 is on the north side of San Antonio.
Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
