An MBTA Commuter Train passenger was injured after the train collided with a tractor-trailer stopped on the crossing along Pine Street in Canton, MA. First responders with the Canton Fire Department say the accident took place around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

The driver of the tractor-trailer jumped from his vehicle after it became trapped in the crossing, and was uninjured in the crash. Authorities report the crossing guards and lights were functioning properly at the time. MBTA Transit Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
