On or about Thursday, May 19th, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, a serious motorcycle accident sent one individual to the hospital. Spokespeople from the LPD said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of 82nd Street and York in Lubbock, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the Lubbock Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the motorcycle they were on crashed under unspecified circumstances at 82nd Street and York. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southwest side of Lubbock.
Officials are still examining the cause of the incident.
