On or about Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, a serious accident between a motorcycle and an SUV sent one person to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 96 in Jasper, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the motorcycle they were on was allegedly hit by an SUV that was pulling out of a parking lot along Highway 96. Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to Jasper Memorial Hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in front of Brookshires Brothers.
Police are still looking into the accident.
