On or about Thursday, May 19th, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, a major single-vehicle motorcycle accident sent one person to the hospital. Representatives from local law enforcement said the accident was reported on the West Loop in Lubbock, Texas.
Officers from the Lubbock Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on crashed under unspecified circumstances along the West Loop. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with 26th Street.
