On or about Saturday, April 30th, 2022, around 10:23 at night, a serious single-vehicle motorcycle accident sent one individual to the hospital Spokespeople from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of Wilderness Rescue Loyola Lane and Crystalbrook Drive in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the motorcycle they were on allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and slammed into a pole a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported the driver of the motorcycle to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Wilderness Rescue Loyola Lane and Crystalbrook Drive is on the east side of Austin.
Police are still trying to pin down the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
